Jewel Evans Lindsey – Awarded Certificate and Badge of Honour Jewel Evans Lindsey, Chief Executive Officer of the Public Service Pensions Board ensures, daily, that there is commitment to the services that are provided to the public sector members and pensioners of our beloved Islands. Her impactful and progressive leadership has skillfully collaborated and continuously transform our practices at the PSPB. There is little doubt that the world around us has become more complex and Mrs. Evans Lindsey has recognized that it is just not the same world anymore – agility is required and must be demonstrated. What is even more moving, is the way she, with great enthusiasm, demonstrated courage and emotional continuity during the height of the Pandemic. It was during this time, her work and care for our members became even more evident. Mrs. Evans Lindsey became the voice of our pensioners and spearheaded a campaign, to have the PSPB’s team offer support by reaching out to every retiree, local and overseas, to assess their needs and to give something back, where it was needed. Mrs. Evans Lindsey’s impact, during this time was indelible and she became a beloved force. What is more, operations at the Authority were maintained without interruptions through the mobilization of the PSPB team to recognize what is essential, and that our pensioners really matter. Mrs. Evans Lindsey has spent most of her life’s work focused on the PSPB and the road ahead. Changes have been embraced, as well as the risks, and the sure things. This year marks the PSPB’s Pearl Anniversary and the celebration of 30 years, for Mrs. Evans Lindsey as leader for the PSPB, and at no time has the need to make sense of the world in which we live more evident. Leadership is pivotal to this, and our members, and our people demands from us that we not only survive these changes but lead from the front. Under Mrs. Evans Lindsey’s steady and innovative leadership, the PSPB will continue to be a force in these islands and the wider Caribbean as the leading pension organization. There is certainly appreciation for her work. In January, of this year, Mrs. Evans Lindsey, was named a recipient of Her Majesty’s New Year Honours in recognition for her work.
